Research on Infrared Thermal Imaging Characteristics of Preschool Children with Yang Deficiency Constitution
Objective By using infrared thermal imaging technology and taking preschool children as research objects,a new method for the diagnosis of"Yang deficiency constitution"of preschool children was proposed by comparing the differences in infrared thermal imaging characteristics between children with normal constitution,so as to reduce the possible errors caused by the existing constitution identification method.Methods The constitution identification of some preschool children in kindergartens of Zhengzhou was carried out,and 150 cases of children with Yang deficiency and 150 healthy children were screened out for infrared thermal imaging detection,and some parts of the body surface and acupunc-ture points were selected as the observation area.The relative temperature of the two groups of body surfaces was statistical-ly described,and the differences were analyzed.The characteristics of infrared thermal imaging of preschool children with Yang deficiency constitution in Zhengzhou were summarized,and the causes were analyzed.Results The infrared thermal imaging characteristics of preschool children with Yang deficiency constitution are as follows:the relative temperature of a total of 15 areas and acupuncture points including upper jiao,middle jiao,lower jiao,left chest,right chest,gastral cavity,left waist area,right waist area,spine area,Pishu acupoint,Shenshu acupoint,left palm,right palm,left cheek,and right cheek was statistically significant(P<0.05)compared with healthy preschool children.There were correlations between upper jiao,middle jiao,left chest,right chest,gastral cavity,spine area,Pishu acupoint,lower jiao,left waist area,right waist area,Shenshu acupoint,and left palm and transformation of Yang deficiency constitution(P<0.05).The transforma-tion of Yang deficiency constitution was positively correlated with the relative temperature of upper jiao,middle jiao,left chest,right chest,gastral cavity,spine area,and Pishu acupoint but negatively correlated with the relative temperature of lower jiao,left waist area,right waist area,Shenshu acupoint,and left palm.Conclusion Compared with healthy children,the infrared thermal imaging of preschool children with Yang deficiency constitution has significant characteristics,which can increase the objectivity and accuracy of research on children constitution identification.
