Differentiation and Treatment Mechanism of Coronary Slow Flow Based on Collat-eral Disease Theory
Coronary slow flow(CSF)is a complex coronary artery condition,associated with pathological changes in the cardiac microcirculation,and falls in the category of collateral-vessel system diseases.Drawing from the collateral disease theory and integrating the modern medical understanding of CSF,this paper explored the pathogenesis of CSF.It posited that the fundamental pathological basis of CSF was the deficiency of collaterals and the malnourishment of heart col-laterals,while the pathological crux of the condition was combined phlegm and blood stasis leading to the obstruction of col-laterals.Therefore,the treatment principles focused on tonifying the collaterals,with nourishing the deficiency,smoothing the collaterals,dispelling blood stasis,and resolving phlegm as the basic therapeutic approaches.This aimed to provide new diagnostic and therapeutic perspectives and a theoretical foundation for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of CSF.
