Theoretical Establishment of the Evaluation Scale for Dyslipidemia at an Animal Model in a Turbid Phlegm Stagnation Syndrome
Objective To generalize the connotations of phlegm turbidity,preliminarily identify the macroscopic characteristics of turbid phlegm stagnation syndrome sin animal s,construct a theoretical framework for the scale,and pro-vide a referential method for the evaluation of the animal model with dyslipidemia of turbid phlegm stagnation syndrome.Methods This study searched for"Turbid phlegm stagnation syndrome"in relevant works such as Basic Theory of Tradi-tional Chinese Medicine,Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Clinical Guidelines for New Chinese Medicine,Clinical Terminology of Traditional Chinese Medicine:Syndrome Section and other related literature published between Jan-uary 1,2012,and July 1,2022.Also,it searched for experimental literature related to animal models of turbid phlegm stag-nation syndrome published in databases such as CNKI,Wanfang,and VIP.The specific concepts and manifestations of phlegm were summarized through a search of ancient and modern literature.On this basis,the basic framework of the scale was developed where a pool of entries was created and scores were assigned.Results The evaluation scale of the animal model with dyslipidemia of turbid phlegm stagnation syndrome included eight dimensions,five measurement entries,and seven observation entries.Conclusion The introduction of scale evaluation lays the foundation for the homogeneity of re-search on the biological basis of the syndrome and its intervention effects based on animal models.
