Medication Rules and Academic Thoughts of Professor Yang Jinxiang in the Treat-ment of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis Based on Cluster Analysis
Objective To explore Professor Yang Jinxiang's medication rules and main academic thoughts in the syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).Methods Medical records and first-visit Chinese medicine prescriptions of 262 CAG patients diagnosed by Professor Yang from January 2019 to December 2019 were collected.The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 for frequency analysis and IBM SPSS Modeler 18 for cluster analysis.Results Frequency analysis of the first-visit Chinese medicine prescriptions of 262 patients revealed that the two most frequently used drugs by Professor Yang in the treatment of CAG based on syndrome differentiation were Cynanchi Paniculati Radix et Rhizoma and Artemisiae Annuae Herba.Cluster analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 on drugs with a frequency of≥40 times identified six core Chinese medicine prescriptions for treating CAG.Conclusion Professor Yang is skilled in using both warm and cold drugs,and prefers those with bitter,pungent,and sweet flavors.The drugs predominantly target the liver,stomach,and spleen meridians.Professor Yang emphasizes the importance of soothing liver qi,harmonizing the stomach by strengthening the spleen,and treating both the spleen and stomach concurrently.More-over,he advocates for a balanced approach to treating the middle energizer and combines syndrome differentiation with symptom differentiation for both root and manifestation treatment.Additionally,he focuses on resolving stasis and removing toxin,with satisfactory clinical outcomes achieved.
