Clinical Efficacy of Bushen Antai Formula in Treating Early Threatened Miscar-riage of Kidney Deficiency Type and Its Influence on Th1/Th2-Related Factors and Th17/Treg Cell Balance
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Bushen Antai formula in the treatment of kidney defi-ciency type early threatened miscarriage and its influence on Th1/Th2 related factors and Th17/Treg cell balance.Meth-ods A total of 126 patients with early threatened miscarriage of kidney deficiency type treated at our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study object and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 63 cases in each group.The control group was given oral dydrogesterone treatment,and the observation group was given Bushen Antai formula in addition to dydrogesterone.After continuous treatment for 14 days,the clinical efficacy,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,sex hormones[human chorionic gonadotropin(β-HCG),progester-one(P),estradiol(E2),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)],Th1/Th2-related factors[interleukin-2(IL-2),IL-4,IL-10,interferon γ(INF-γ)]and Th17/Treg level before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 92.06％(58/63),which was signifi-cantly higher than that of the control group(79.37％,50/63),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,both groups showed a decrease in vaginal bleeding time,blood loss,lower abdominal pain or distension,lumbar soreness,dizziness and tinnitus,nocturnal frequency of urination,and the score and total score of both knees com-pared to before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Moreover,all indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of sex hormones β-HCG,P,E2 and FSH in 2 groups were higher than before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,statistically signif-icant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,both groups showed an increase in serum levels of IL-4 and IL-10 and a decrease in IL-2 and INF-γ levels compared to before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The levels of IL-4 and IL-10 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the levels of IL-2 and INF-γ were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treat-ment,serum Th17 and Th17/Treg levels in the two groups were lower than before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in Treg level between the two groups before and after treatment(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of dydrogesterone treatment with Bushen Antai formula can signifi-cantly relieve alleviate symptoms of the patients with early threatened miscarriage of kidney deficiency type as well as im-prove sex hormone levels and immune status.
