Efficacy of Optimized Qianjin Neituosan in the Treatment of Perianal Abscess in Postoperative Inflammatory Period
Objective To explore the application effect of the optimized Qianjin Neituosan in the treatment of perianal abscess in postoperative inflammatory period. Methods A total of 200 patients who underwent surgery for peri-anal abscess at Tangshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to December 2020 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group according to a random number table, with 100 cases in each group. The control group received Kangfuxin liquid and routine wound dressing change, while the treatment group received the optimized Qianjin Neituosan and routine wound dressing change, both for 7 days. The clinical efficacy, wound healing conditions, and safety of the two groups were observed and compared. The scores of perianal pain, levels of inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),activin A(ACTA),and inter-leukin-1β(IL-1β)],and levels of vascular growth factors[vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and epidermal growth factor(EGF)]before and after treatment were also measured. Results After treatment, the total clinical effective rate was 99.00%(99/100)in the treatment group and 98%(98/100)in the control group, with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The cure rate in the treatment group was significantly higher at 55.00%(55/100)compared to 38.00%(38/100)in the control group(P<0.05).The scores for wound healing, eschar shedding, new epithelium appear-ance,and wound healing time in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the wound area reduction rate was higher(P<0.05).Levels of inflammatory factors TNF-α,hs-CRP,ACTA,and IL-1β in both groups were significantly reduced after treatment compared to those before treatment(P<0.05);these levels were signifi-cantly lower in the treatment group than the control group(P<0.05).Levels of vascular growth factors VEGF and EGF in both groups were significantly increased after treatment compared to those before treatment(P<0.05);these levels were significantly higher in the treatment group than the control group(P<0.05).The perianal pain scores in both groups were significantly reduced after treatment compared to those before treatment(P<0.05);these scores were significantly lower in the treatment group than the control group(P<0.05).During the treatment period,no significant adverse reactions were observed in either group, indicating a certain level of safety. Conclusion The optimized Qianjin Neituosan is safe and ef-fective for use during the inflammatory phase after surgery for perianal abscess, and it can alleviate postoperative pain and inflammatory response, promote the growth of granulation tissue, and facilitate wound healing.
