Textual Research on Origin and Development of Dysphoria
Dysphoria,as a symptom in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),was first recorded in the Huangdi's Internal Classic.Throughout successive generations,various medical practitioners continuously enriched and improved its related content,leading to the orderly transmission and refinement of its theoretical framework.This article examined the relevant content of dysphoria in ancient texts,selectively screened it,and traced its origin and development based on histor-ical records.Its meaning was summarized as a medical term.Firstly,in terms of the pathological location,it emphasizes the involvement of the heart and brain,including both psychological and mental states.Secondly,in terms of symptoms,it refers to clinical manifestations of mental agitation and restlessness,which can be either primary symptoms or accompanying symptoms.Thirdly,its etiology is diverse,requiring clinical differentiation and treatment based on syndrome differentiation.
