Therapeutic Effect of Huo-long Cupping Therapy on Breast Distending Pain in Pu-erperal Women
Objective To observe the effect of Huo-long cupping therapy on breast distending pain in puerperal women.Methods A total of 120 puerperal women with breast distending pain treated in Shangqiu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2022 to October 2023 were enrolled and assigned with the random number table method into an experimental group and a control group,with 60 women in each group.On the basis of health education and psycho-logical nursing,the control group was treated with breast massage and external application of traditional Chinese medicine.The experimental group received Huo-long cupping therapy with rotation,pointing,shocking,and flashing manipulations in the breasts,back bladder channel,breast reflex area,and Danzhong(CV17).After 3 days of treatment,the patients'satis-faction degree and milk production were compared between the two groups.The breast distending pain and hardness were recorded before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the breast hardness and distending pain were alleviated in both groups(P＜0.05)and the experimental group outperformed the control group(P＜0.05).The milk production in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group after treatment(P＜0.05).The total satisfaction degree in the experimental group was 98.33％(59/60),which was higher than that(78.33％,47/60)in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Huo-long cupping therapy can relieve the breast distending pain,promote milk production,and improve the satisfaction of puerperal women.
