Objective To investigate the medication regularity and core prescription of professor NI Qing against diabetes by data mining in order to provide references for the clinical treatment of diabetes mellitus(DM).Methods By collecting clinical medical records and combining them with the analysis system of the software,the frequency statistics method was used to calculate the occurrence frequency of treatment methods and the frequency of properties and flavors of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)acting on different channels.Association rule analysis was used to statistically deter-mine the frequency of TCM drug combinations used in the prescriptions and the association rules between drugs.Cytoscape 3.7.1 was adopted for visual display.Results A total of 99 cases of patients with early DM were analyzed.Drugs with high frequency include Poria,Rhizoma Alismatis,Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae,Polyporus Umbellatus,Eupatorii Herba,and Herba Pogostemonis.The drug combinations include"Polyporus Umbellatus+Poria","Polyporus Umbellatus+Rhizo-ma Alismatis","Herba Pogostemonis+Eupatorii Herba","Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis+Rhizoma Pinelliae","fried Rhi-zoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae+Poria","Semen Plantaginis+Cyathulae Radix","Radix Pseudostellariae+Poria","Semen Benincasae+Exocarpium Benincasae","Eupatorium japonicum+Rhizoma Alismatis","raw Radix Astragali+Radix Pseudostellariae",and"Lignum Santalialbi+Radix et Rhizoma Salviae Miltiorrhizae+Fructus Amomi".Conclusion Professor NI Qing attaches great importance to the symptoms in the diagnosis and treatment of early DM,starting with dampness,deficiency,blood stasis,and turbidity to treat the disease by strengthening the spleen,removing dampness,and removing blood stasis and turbidity.
