Professor Cai Lianxiang's Clinical Experience in Treating Moderate to Severe Intra-uterine Adhesion in Stages Based on Theory of"Micro Zhengjia"
The clinical incidence of intrauterine adhesion(IUA)has been increasing annually, seriously impacting women's reproductive health and pregnancy outcomes.Hysteroscopy is the gold standard for diagnosis, and hysteroscopic adhesiolysis is the preferred treatment for IUA.However, reducing the recurrence rate of adhesions and improving endome-trial conditions after surgery are key clinical concerns and difficult challenges that urgently need to be addressed.Professor Cai Lianxiang believes that IUA is characterized by blood stasis and obstruction in the uterus, with prolonged stasis leading to the formation of masses. The fundamental pathogenesis involves kidney deficiency and Qi weakness, resulting in insuffi-cient power for movement. She innovatively proposed the"micro Zhengjia"theory for IUA and advocated a staged,syn-drome-differentiated treatment for moderate to severe cases. After hysteroscopic adhesion separation, the treatment focuses on tonifying Qi,promoting blood circulation, resolving stasis, and dissolving masses to prevent recurrence.Once the uterine cavity has returned to its normal shape, the treatment shifts to tonifying the kidneys, regulating menstruation, promoting blood circulation, and nourishing the blood to repair the endometrium and improve endometrial receptivity. The clinical re-sults have been satisfactory.
