This article introduces Professor Chen Jing's experience in treating visceral"internal carbuncle"in clin-ical practice.Internal ulcerative diseases are relatively common,and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)considers them as"internal carbuncles"when they manifest as carbuncles within the internal organs.Over many years of clinical work,Profes-sor Chen Jing has drawn upon the promoting and tonifying methods used in TCM surgery and adapted them for the treat-ment of internal carbuncle within the viscera,achieving significant clinical outcomes.This method,which combines both promoting and tonifying,has proven to be highly effective in these cases.This article includes selected classic clinical cases from Professor Chen Jing's practice in treating visceral internal carbuncle,offering a detailed analysis of the medication strategies used at various stages of disease progression.It also offers a thorough summary of Professor Chen Jing's experi-ence in using the promoting and tonifying methods for syndrome differentiation and treatment of visceral carbuncle.This work provides valuable insights and references for the prevention and treatment of internal ulcerative diseases in TCM.
