Clinical Treatment Efficacy of Chronic Nonspecific Lower Back Pain Caused by Mili-tary Training with Stagnation Acupuncture Therapy Based on Tendon Injury Theory
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of stagnation acupuncture therapy on chronic nonspecific lower back pain(CNLBP)caused by military training, and the therapy's impact on the degree of pain and lumbar spine function of patients. Methods 108 patients with CNLBP caused by military training admitted to No.983 Hospital of PLA Joint Logistics Support Force between April 2022 and June 2023 were selected.Meanwhile, according to the random num-ber table method, the patients were divided into the rehabilitation treatment group, ordinary acupuncture group, and stagna-tion acupuncture group, with 36 cases in each group. The rehabilitation treatment group received routine rehabilitation phys-ical therapy, the ordinary acupuncture group received traditional acupuncture treatment based on rehabilitation treatment, and the stagnation acupuncture group received stagnation acupuncture treatment based on rehabilitation treatment. The treatment was conducted every two or three days and three times every week, with two weeks for a course. After constant treatment for a course, this paper observed and compared the pain visual analogue scale(VAS),lumbar range of motion(forward flexion, backward extension, lateral flexion, rotation),lumbar muscle endurance(flexor endurance time and exten-sor endurance time),lumbar Oswestry disability index(ODI),and clinical effect before treatment and after treatment in the three groups. Results After treatment for one day,one week, two weeks, and two months, the VAS score, lumbar range of motion(forward flexion, backward extension, lateral flexion, rotation),lumbar muscle endurance(flexor endurance time and extensor endurance time),and ODI score of the three groups are significantly improved compared to those before treatment, with differences of statistical significance(P<0.05).The VAS score, lumbar range of motion(forward flexion, backward extension, lateral flexion, rotation),lumbar muscle endurance(flexor endurance time and extensor endurance time),and ODI score of the stagnation acupuncture group are notably enhanced compared to those of the rehabilitation treatment and ordinary acupuncture groups, with differences of statistical significance(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the rehabilita-tion treatment group, ordinary acupuncture group, and stagnation acupuncture group after treatment is 75.76%,93.94%,and 97.06%respectively.After treatment for two months, the effective rates of the above three groups are 72.73%,87.88%,and 94.12%respectively.The total effective rate of the stagnation acupuncture group is significantly higher than that of the rehabilitation group and ordinary treatment group, with differences of statistical significance(P<0.05).Repeat-ed measure analysis of variance shows that the VAS and ODI scores of the stagnation acupuncture group present a signifi-cant downward trend compared to the rehabilitation treatment group and the ordinary acupuncture group, while the lumbar range of motion and lumbar muscle endurance time show a notable upward trend, with significant statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The stagnation acupuncture therapy for CNLBP caused by military training is guided by the tendon injury theory,to adjust muscle imbalance and biological force reconstruction. The therapy has the efficacy of"treating one acupoint with multiple effects",simplifies treatment procedures, shortens treatment time, and improves treatment effective-ness,providing application and promotion significance.
