Efficacy of Yanghe Decoction Combined with Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection in the Intervention of Granulomatous Lobular Mastitis
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Yanghe Decoction combined with triamcinolone ace-tonide injection in the treatment of mass-type granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM)with the syndrome of yang deficiency and phlegm coagulation. Methods Sixty patients of mass-type GLM with the syndrome of yang deficiency and phlegm coagulation who were treated in Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between December 2022 and October 2023 were chosen and divided into a treatment group and a control group with the random number table method. The con-trol group was treated with triamcinolone acetonide injection in the mass, while the treatment group received Yanghe Decoc-tion in addition to the drug used by the control group. Both groups were treated for 8 weeks. The efficacy was evaluated by comparing the changes of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores and inflammatory markers[procalcitonin(PCT),interleukin-6(IL-6),and C-reactive protein(CRP)]between the two groups before and after treatment.Re-sults After treatment, the total clinical effective rate of 96.67%(29/30)in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of 83.33%(25/30)in the control group(P<0.05).The TCM syndrome scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the TCM syndrome scores were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).Treatment reduced PCT,CRP,and IL-6 levels in the two groups(P<0.05),and their lev-els were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of Yanghe Decoction combined with triamcinolone acetonide injection is significant in the treatment of GLM,which can im-prove TCM syndromes and enhance the treatment effect.
