Objective:To explore the acupoint selection regularity of acupuncture and moxibustion for limb movement and sensory dysfunction after spinal cord injury based on data mining technology. Methods:China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),China Biology Medicine(CBM),China Science Periodical Database(CSPD)and Chinese Citation Database(CCD)were searched to get the clinical literature of acupuncture and moxibustion as the main method for limb movement and sensory dysfunction after spi-nal cord injury since the conception of the databases.Descriptive analysis, association analysis and cluster analysis were performed. Results:A total of 123 studies and 136 prescriptions were included, and 117 acupoints in total with the total frequency of 1411 were used. The main intervention was electroacupuncture. The acupoints used most frequently were Jiaji points of the adjacent segments, governor meridian acupoints of the adjacent segments and other 15 acupoints in total. The meridians used most frequently were gov-ernor meridian, stomach meridian of foot-yangming,large intestine meridian of hand-yangming,gallbladder meridian of foot-shaoyang and bladder meridian of foot-taiyang.The acupoint combinations with the most relevant degree were Zusanli-Waiguan-Sanyinjiao,Quchi-Hegu-Yanglingquan and Quchi-Hegu-Waiguan.The effective acupoint combinations were Quchi-Waiguan-Hegu,Yan-glingquan-Zusanli,Taixi-Shousanli and Mingmen-Dazhui.Conclusion:On the acupuncture and moxibustion for limb dysfunction af-ter spinal cord injury, the main idea is to"restore yang qi by dredging governor meridian, tonify blood and qi",achieving the effect-through the cooperation of the proximal Jiaji points, governor meridian acupoints and the distal yang meridian acupoints of the limbs.
