Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a common autoimmune disease with high incidence and disability rate.At present,the pathogenesis of RA is not yet clear,posing a challenging focus for current research.The construction of a suitable animal model of RA is of great significance for the mechanism study of RA and the development of new targeted drugs.RA models can not only re-flect the pathological features in Western medicine,but also reflect the changes of syndromes in traditional Chinese medicine.Re-searchers should choose models according to experimental needs.
