Coronary heart disease(CHD)is a common clinical cardiovascular disease with many risk factors,high morbidity and mortality rates.CHD's symptoms are recurrent and seriously affect the physical and mental health of patients.The application of tra-ditional Chinese medicine(TCM)can alleviate the symptoms and anxiety of patients with CHD through"double-heart treatment".CHD belongs to the scope of"chest paralysis and heart pain"in TCM.Its complex pathogenesis involves various clinical syn-dromes,including heart meridian stasis syndrome,syndrome of blockade of phlegm-turbidity,qi stagnation chest syndrome,cold heart vein syndrome,phlegm-blood stasis syndrome,qi—yin deficiency syndrome,heart-kidney yin deficiency syndrome and heart-kidney yang deficiency syndrome.There are many therapeutic prescriptions specific for different types of symptoms,but the mecha-nism of action is still unclear.Proteomics technology is a technique for identifying proteins and studying protein characteristics,which can provide a comprehensive understanding of disease development.It can be used to explore diagnostic biomarkers,study protein differences in various TCM symptoms,and infer the mechanisms of TCM treatment for CHD.
