Qigong Pill,first recorded inYifang Jijie,is a famous prescription for the treatment of"obesity-related infertility".It has the effect of drying dampness,strengthening spleen,removing phlegm,regulating qi,soothing liver and eliminating stagnation.Up to now,it is still widely used in the clinical treatment of infertility related to polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),with remarkable effi-cacy,earning a place in the textbook of gynecology of traditional Chinese medicine.Through a systematic review and analysis of ancient books,modern medical books and clinical application,this study investigated the origin,composition,dosage,processing re-quirements,main functions and prescription characteristics of Qigong Pill.Qigong Pill can unblock the obstruction of cellular veins and uterus.At present,it is also used for the treatment of hydrosalpinx-related infertility,obesity,metabolic diseases,fatty liver,etc addressing diverse conditions with a common focus on treating phlegm-dampness syndrome.This study provides reference and basis for its clinical application and further development of Qigong Pill.
