Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in clinical practice,characterized by a high incidence and high mortality rate,which seriously endangers human life and health.Despite continuous advancements in the treatment of gastric cancer,its prevention and treatment remain a thorny problem.The idea of traditional Chinese medicine preventive treatment,rooted in the ancient Chinese medical text"Huangdi Neijing",continues to hold important guiding significance in clinical practice today.Therefore,according to the preventive treatment thought in traditional Chinese medicine,the current application of traditional Chi-nese medicine in the prevention and treatment of gastric cancer was summarized.The results showed that traditional Chinese medi-cine has achieved good results in preventing the occurrence of gastric cancer,preventing the complications caused by the treatment of gastric cancer,controlling the disease progression,maintaining the survival state with tumor,preventing the recurrence and metas-tasis of gastric cancer and so on.
