Effect of Yiqihuajufang Combined with Lipoic Acid on Blood Glucose,Metabolism,and Neuropathy in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

摘要
目的:观察益气化聚方联合硫辛酸对2型糖尿病(T2DM)患者血糖、代谢指标及周围神经病变的影响.方法:选取2020年8月至2022年12月上海中医药大学附属岳阳中西医结合医院收治的T2DM患者120例作为研究对象,采用随机数字表法分为对照组和观察组,每组60例.对照组给予硫辛酸治疗,观察组在对照组基础上加用益气化聚方治疗.比较2组患者在治疗后的临床疗效、血糖变化、代谢相关指标、周围神经病变及治疗期间不良反应发生情况.结果:治疗后,观察组患者治疗总有效率高于对照组,且高低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)水平、总神经运动神经传导速度(MNCV)及感觉神经传导速度(SNCV)评分(正中神经和腓总神经)显著升高,差异有统计学意义(P＜0.05),空腹血糖(FPG)、餐后2 h血糖(2 h PG)、总胆固醇(TC)、三酰甘油(TG)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、胰岛素抵抗指数(HOMA-IR)与对照组比较显著降低(P＜0.05).观察组治疗期间出现血小板功能异常2例、脸色苍白1例,对照组治疗期间出现血小板功能异常2例、脸色苍白2例,2组治疗后不良反应发生情况差异无统计学意义.结论:采用益气化聚方联合硫辛酸治疗T2DM可更明显改善周围神经病变,降低血糖,控制血脂,且安全性良好.
Abstract
Objective:This study aims to investigate the effect of Yiqihuajufang combined with lipoic acid on blood glucose,meta-bolic indices,and peripheral neuropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2 DM).Methods:A total of 120 patients with T2DM admitted to Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2020 to December 2022 were selected.They were randomly divided into a control group or an observation group.The control group underwent treatment with lipoic acid,while the observation group was treated with Yiqi-huajufang based on the control group's treatment.A comparison was made between the two groups in terms of clinical efficacy,blood glucose changes,metabolic indicators,peripheral neuropathy,and incidence of adverse reactions after treatment.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group patients was higher than that of the control group,and the levels of high and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV),and sensory nerve conduction velocity(SNCV)scores were significantly increased,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).The fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial glucose(2h PG),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),and homeo-static model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)were significantly lower in the observation group compared with those in the control group(P＜0.05).During the treatment period,the observation group experienced two cases of platelet dysfunction and one case of pale complexion,while the control group experienced two cases of platelet dysfunction and two cases of pale complex-ion.There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups after treatment.Conclusion:Yiqihuajufang combined with lipoic acid is noticeably effective in treating T2DM-induced peripheral neuropathy,re-ducing blood glucose levels,and controlling blood lipids.Furthermore,the treatment is safe.
