Diabetic kidney disease(DKD)is the primary cause of chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease,posing a se-rious risk to the human health.In TCM,blood stasis is considered as a key pathogenic mechanism throughout the course of DKD,and a number of blood-activating and collateral-dredging prescriptions have been developed for DKD patients.These prescriptions have shown definite efficacy in alleviating clinical symptoms,reducing proteinuria,protecting the renal function,improving the ther-apeutic effect,and delaying progression of DKD.
