Objective:To explore the acupoint selection rules of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of asthenozoospermia-in-duced infertility based on syndrome differentiation and provide assistance for clinical treatment of asthenozoospermia.Methods:Relevant literature on acupuncture and moxibustion treatment for asthenozoospermia was searched from databases including the Chi-na National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),China Science Periodical Database(CSPD),and Chinese Sci-tech Journal Database(CCD).Symptoms and acupuncture prescriptions were extracted to construct a case database.Data mining methods,such as the latent structure model and frequent item set,were used to analyze the acupoint se-lection rules of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of asthenozoospermia based on syndrome differentiation.Results:Thirty-five articles were included,involving 62 symptoms and 49 acupoints.High-frequency symptoms included lower back soreness and fa-tigue,while high-frequency acupoints included Guanyuan(CV4)and Shenshu(BL23).Frequent item set analysis of symptoms,acupoints,and syndromes revealed four symptom-acupoint frequent item sets,such as tinnitus+dizziness+lower back soreness+Guanyuan(CV4)+Shenshu(BL23);four syndrome-symptom frequent item sets,such as kidney essence deficiency+forgetfulness+low libido+fatigue+thready pulse;four syndrome-symptom-acupoint frequent item sets,such as kidney essence deficiency+low libido+fatigue+hair loss+Guanyuan(CV4).Conclusion:The primary acupoints used in the treatment of asthenozoospermia are Guanyuan(CV4),Shenshu(BL23),and Zusanli(ST36).
