Objective:To study the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Rumo ointment in the treatment of acute closed soft tissue injury. Methods:Sixty SD rats(6 spare)were divided into group A(blank control group),group B(model control group),group C(Qingpeng ointment group),group D(high-dose Rumo ointment group),group E(middle-dose Rumo ointment group),and group F(low-dose Rumo ointment group).By establishing the SD rat model of acute closed soft tissue injury, the content of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),prostaglandin E2(PGE2),and superoxide dismutase(SOD)was detected in the damaged tissue. The morphological changes of the damaged tissue and the content changes of basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)in the tissue were observed under a microscope. Results:After intervention using modeling drugs, the content of TNF-α,IL-1 β,and PGE-2 in the injured tissues of rats in the modeling groups gradually decreased, among which the decrease in group C and group D was the most obvious, and the decrease in group B was the slowest. The increase in SOD content was the most obvious in group C and group D,and that in group B was the slowest. On the second day after modeling, there was no significant difference in the aver-age optical density of bFGF protein in each group(P>0.05).On the 7th and 14th days after modeling, the average optical density of bFGF protein in each group was statistically different(P<0.05).Conclusion:High-dose Rumo ointment and Qingpeng ointment have comparable anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
