Diabetic kidney disease(DKD)has a complex pathogenesis,involving metabolic disorders,oxidative stress,inflamma-tion,and other factors.Lipid metabolism,as one of the critical metabolic processes in the body,is closely related to the progression of DKD.In modern medicine,interventions such as lifestyle modification,and the use of glucose-lowering and lipid-lowering drugs are commonly employed to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism in DKD patients,which can improve patient outcomes to some ex-tent.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has also made certain achievements in treating DKD complicated by lipid metabolism disorders,particularly in the development of clinical formulations and the extraction of active ingredients.
