Acupoint Combination Regularities and Application Characteristics of Acupuncture Methods in Treatment of Spastic Cerebral Palsy Based on Data Mining
Objective:To analyze the acupoint combination regularities and application characteristics of acupuncture methods used in the treatment of spastic cerebral palsy through data mining technology, providing references for acupoint selection and treatment ideas for acupuncture treatment of spastic cerebral palsy. Methods:Clinical research literature on acupuncture treatment of spastic cerebral palsy was retrieved from databases including CNKI,CSPD,CCD,CBM,PubMed,EMbase,Web of Science, and Cochrane Library from their inception until June 20,2023.Descriptive analysis, association rule analysis, and complex network analysis were conducted. Results:A total of 185 articles were included, with 300 prescriptions and 219 acupoints, used a total of 3 229 times. The most frequently used acupoints were Zusanli(ST 36),Baihui(GV 20),Sanyinjiao(SP 6),Sishencong(EX-HN 1),and Hegu(LI 4).Specific points were primarily the five Shu points, with acupoints mainly distributed on the head and limbs. The most frequently used meridians(including acupuncture therapies)were the governor meridian, stomach meridian of foot Yangming, and Jin's Three-Needle therapy. The acupoint combinations with the highest support degree were Sanyinjiao-Zusanli,Sishencong-Baihui,and Quchi(LI 11)-Hegu,all predominantly local acupoint pairings."Community analysis"identified three core acupoint communities.Clini-cally,filiform needle acupuncture was most commonly used in the treatment of spastic cerebral palsy, with neutral reinforcement and reduction techniques being the primary method.Acupoints on the head were mainly treated with horizontal insertion, while body acupoints were treated with perpendicular insertion. Conclusion:Data mining reveals distinctive features in acupuncture treatment of spastic cerebral palsy, with a focus on local acupoint selection, complemented by upper and lower point combinations.Emphasis is placed on the characteristics of various acupuncture schools and the specificity of acupuncture methods, providing valuable refer-ence for clinical acupuncture treatment of spastic cerebral palsy.
