Research Progress on TCM in Intervention of Hepatic Encephalopathy by Regulating Inflammatory Reaction
Hepatic encephalopathy(HE)poses a significant global health challenge, threatening the quality of life for liver disease patients and increasing the burden on healthcare systems. The mechanisms underlying HE remain unclear, and clinical treatment continues to face difficulties.Current research indicates a close relationship between inflammatory responses and the development of HE.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has deepened its theoretical understanding of HE,showing substantial clinical application potential in intervening in this condition.TCM demonstrates advantages through multi-target,multi-pathway,and multi-link efficacy. This study reviewed the relationship between inflammatory responses and HE,TCM understanding of HE,and TCM interventions on inflammatory signaling pathways related to HE,aiming to provide a reference and basis for future research on the prevention and treatment of HE.
