This article analyzes the history and cultural value of figure rope jumping that plays a posi-tive role in enriching the physical education in colleges,promoting sports clubs,physical and mental health of students,and cultivating team spirit.In order to carry out the sport of figure jumping well and promote the construction of sports culture,universities should improve the curricular construction,set up figure jumping competition mechanisms,and strengthen the construction of teaching staff and venue facilities.
