In order to find low-cost PVC plasticizer formulations, the synergistic plastic performance of chlorparaffin(CP-52)and dioctyl terephthalate(DOTP)in polyvinyl chloride(PVC)was studied. The properties of PVC production were compared before and after remixing chloroparaffin, including thermal stability, thermal aging properties, mechanical properties and migration resistance of plasticizers. The results showed that the PVC production plasticized by CP-52/DOTP combined plasticizer system had good thermal stability because of the volatile and flame retardant of chlorparaffin.Otherwise, the thermal aging resistance and volatility resistance were improved as well.Furthermore, the tensile strength and fracture elongation of PVC production were significantly increased after remixing chloroparaffin. When the remixing ratio was 40%,the fracture elongation and tensile strength increased the most, which were 1.92 times and 2.28 times that of the unremixed PVC film, respectively. The migration resistance was also improved after remixing chloroparaffin especially in anhydrous ethanol and petroleum ether. When the remixing ratio was 50%,the mass loss of PVC production decreased by 6.87%and 17.16%,respectively(6 h).The migration resistance in the food simulation solution was also improved, especially in n-hexane,when the optimal mixing ratio was 50%,the mass loss of PVC production was reduced by 14.97%.Finally,the plasticized mechanism was discussed.
