The micro-nano laminated ribbon-shaped polyacrylonitrile(PAN)precursors were prepared by new micro-nano laminated extrusion technology, and the performance of the precursors were characterized by scanning electron microscope,X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),electrical testing machine, and differential scanning calorimeter(DSC).The effects of different draw ratios of coagulation bath on the cross-sectional morphology, crystallization properties and mechanical properties of micro-nano laminated ribbon-shaped PAN precursors were studied. The results showed that with the increase of the draw ratio of the coagulation bath, the thickness of the cascaded ribbon-shaped PAN precursors is greatly reduced;the crystallinity and tensile strength of the precursors showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of the stretch ratio, the best performance of the laminated ribbon-shaped PAN precursors were obtained at a coagulation bath draw ratio of 5.5.The tensile strength of the precursors decreased from 26.08 MPa to 23.36 MPa when the coagulation bath draw ratio was increased from 5.5 to 6.5 times. The experimental results showed that the laminated ribbon-shaped PAN precursors prepared at a coagulation bath draw ratio of 5.5 had a good overall performance with a crystallinity of 39.1%and tensile strength and modulus of 26.08 MPa and 661 MPa respectively.
