POM material was selected for injection molding of a plastic part of a fuel pump cover.The difficulties in mould design include difficulty in filling the mold cavity,high requirements for forming accuracy and dimensional stability,and difficulty in demoulding.Therefore,adapt layout of one mould with one cavity of to ensure that the dimensional accuracy reached MT3 level and the accuracy stability was good;Set a direct gate to ensure sufficient filling of the mould cavity;The main molded parts and sliders were equipped with φ8 mm water channels to achieve balanced cooling of the mould cavity to ensure dimensional accuracy stability;Designed 8 sliders core pulling mechanisms for demoulding complex local features.A two-times core pulling slider composite mechanism and a composite sequential core pulling slider mechanism were designed in the mould.In the two-times core pulling slider composite mechanism,the first core pulling slider was driven by the angle pin,and then the second core pulling slider and the displacement of the two composite sliders were completed by the oil cylinder,solving the demoulding problem of cross features on the outer wall.In the composite sequential core pulling slider mechanism,the first core pulling slider was driven by the oil cylinder to complete the core pulling,and the limit of the second core pulling slider was released.Then,the second core pulling slider completed the core pulling again,solving the problem of demoulding the intersecting inner holes on the plastic part.
