Using chitosan and polyvinyl alcohol as carrier materials,curcumin/chitosan/polyvinyl alcohol films were prepared by solution casting method.Through IR testing,it was shown that curcumin was successfully loaded onto the composite film, and the water absorption, moisture retention, drug loading capacity,sustained-release performance, and antioxidant properties of the film were studied. The research showed that with the increase of chitosan content, the water absorption of the composite material significantly increased. When the chitosan content was 20%,the equilibrium swelling degree was 959%,while it was 1 374%when the chitosan content was 33.3%.When the chitosan content was 50%,the moisture retention performance of the composite film was the best, followed by the chitosan content of 33.3%.In terms of drug loading, when the chitosan content was 33.3%and the curcumin content was 3%,the drug loading capacity was the highest.Through experiments, the optimal formula was selected, with chitosan content of 33.3%,polyvinyl alcohol content of 66.7%,and curcumin content of 3%of the mass of the chitosan/polyvinyl alcohol blend film.At 24 h,the cumulative release rate was 75.6%,and the free radical scavenging rate reached(85.8±1.12)%,indicating that the composite film had antioxidant and sustained-release effects, with broad application prospects in the field of medicine.
