The composite film and coated nonwoven fabric were prepared by the composite liquid of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)and waterborne polyurethane(WBPU),and the physicochemical properties of the composite film and coated fabric were characterized. The results showed that the particle size of PVA and WBPU composite liquid were both increased with the increasing of PVA content, and the particle size distribution coefficient was less than 0.3,that was indicated uniform distribution and good compatibility of PVA and WBPU composite liquid. With the increase of PVA content, the pores became deeper and the pore size became smaller. The microstructure of the composite film with PVA content of 50%~70%was the best. The thermogravimetric performance and water resistance of the composite film were all decreased with the increasing of PVA content, and the water solubility was increased with the increasing of PVA content. With the increasing of PVA content, the breaking strength of the coated fabric was increased initially and then decreased, which was continued to decrease with the increasing of washing times. The optimal adsorption conditions for Pb(Ⅱ)ions were temperature 50℃,pH=6 and adsorption time 5 h.The adsorption capacity was decreased with the increasing of the number of cycles, and the adsorption capacity was 41.31%of the initial value when the cycle was 4 times. The comprehensive analysis showed that the properties of adsorption and reuse value for Pb(Ⅱ)ions were better when the composite mass ratio of PVA and WBPU was properly controlled at 50∶50.
