Poly(butylene adipate terephthalate)(PBAT)is a thermoplastic biodegradable polymer with excellent mechanical ductility and processability.PBAT-based degradable films are mainly prepared by solution coating,extrusion casting and blow molding,and they are suitable for agricultural films,food packaging materials,medicine,energy and other fields.However,the groups such as ester groups on PBAT molecular chains are easily hydrolyzed by water molecules,and swelling occurs on the surface of the PBAT-based degradation film,which quickly penetrates into the film.Moreover,the molecular force of PBAT is small,and the molecular spacing is wide,gas molecules can diffuse in the PBAT-based degradation film,so the barrier property of the PBAT-based degradation film is bad.By means of melt blending modification,nano-material coating and biaxial stretching technology,the isolation layer is installed on the gas diffusion path,which reduces the contact opportunity between gas molecules and the surface of PBAT film,increases the permeation path of gas molecules in PBAT-based degradable film,thus reducing the gas permeability coefficient,improving the barrier performance of PBAT-based degradable film,and meeting the requirements of agricultural film for moisture retention and food packaging materials for food preservation.
