Key Points for Identifying Impoundment-affected Area of Hydropower Engineering and Discussion on Special Types of Impoundment-affected Area
The impoundment-affected area of hydropower engineering comprises landslide, deformed reservoir bank, bank collapse, submergence, karst inundation, and mining subsidence deformation impact areas.Related standards have specified the principles and the contents for identifying impoundment-affected area, but in view of the complexity of geological conditions and the diversity of affected objects, some knowledge yet to be unified.Based on the practical experiences of many large-scale hydropower stations, this paper focuses on the key points for identifying such impoundment-affected areas as landslides, deformed reservoir bank, bank collapse and submergence impact area, and combines some engineering examples to elaborate on the determination of two special types of impoundment-affected area, that is reservoir inundation impact area and reservoir debris flow impact.
