Research Status and Prospect of Seismic Response Analysis of High Earth-Rock Dams on Deep Overburden
China is carrying out the construction of dams on ultra-deep overburden in strong earthquake areas,and there are still problems to be solved in the seismic response analysis of high earth-rock dams on deep overburden.The existing research basis from four aspects are reviewed,including the description of initial physical and mechanical state of high earth-rock dam and surrounding strata,the ground motion input mechanism,the constitutive models of dam-building materials,overburden material and various contact surfaces,and the solution of boundary value problem.On this basis,the seismic response analysis of high earth-rock dams on deep overburden is prospected from three levels of theoretical methods,technical means and regular mechanisms.
