Thought on Preventing Forest Fire From Threatening Nuclear Safe
Nuclear energy is an important pillar of energy for achieving the"dual carbon"goal.Forest fires that occur in the surrounding areas of nuclear facilities quickly spread under extreme weather conditions, posing a serious threat to regional nuclear safety.Improving forest fire emergency response capacity in the area around nuclear facilities is of great significance to safeguarding nuclear security.Based on the analysis of typical cases of forest fires threatening nuclear safety in Ukraine,Russia and the United States,in this paper, policy suggestions were put forward from five aspects:strengthening nuclear safety supervision, checking forest fire risks, building forest fire barrier system, carrying out emergency scenario construction, and improving public opinion response ability,so as to provide basis for forest fire prevention and control work around nuclear facilities.
