Preliminary Study on the Overall Planning of County-level Nature Reserve——A Case Study on Sankeng Nature Reserve in Qingyuan City of Guangdong Province
In this paper,the issues of Sankeng County Nature Reserve,Qingxin District,Qingyuan City were examineed from four perspectives:protection management,science popularization and education,supporting capacity and development potential.The main construction contents of the reserve's overall plan were proposed.Protection management was enhanced by establishing independent institutions,formulating management systems,and introducing technical talents;science education was improved by establishing science education centers and building educational infrastructure;technical support capacity was enhanced by establishing scientific research monitoring centers and intelligent monitoring systems;and the development potential of protected areas was explored through forest nature education and ecological tourism.Emphasis is placed on the construction of protection and management,scientific research and monitoring,public education,ecological tourism,infrastructure to develop an efficiently managed county-level nature reserve that harmonizes with nature.
