Study on the Growth Status of Minnan Young Forest by Interplanting Chinese Fir Near Mature Forest
In Yong'an City,Fujian Province,24 years old Chinese fir near mature forest as the research object,through the comparison of Chinese fir thinning after interplanting,synchronous construction of Minnan pure forest,the growth of Minnan was analyzed.The results showed that the shading of Chinese fir was helpful to improve the survival rate of young trees of Minnan,and the preservation rate of Minnan was the best after 6 years,and its tree height,DBH and volume were significantly better than other treatments,including pure forest renewal and unthinned interplanting.The study confirmed the effectiveness of different age layers of Chinese fir and Minnan in promoting the cooperative growth of the two species,but with the increase of the density and age of Minnan,the interspecific competition intensified.This discovery provides an innovative management model for the transformation of pure Chinese fir forest and the cultivation of large-diameter wood and rare broad-leaved trees.
