In depth exploration was conducted on the historical origins,technical characteristics,current problems,and industrial revitalization and innovative development strategies of Weifang redwood inlaid silver lacquerware.Research reveals that this craft originated during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty and has undergone inheritance and development,forming a unique value.However,it currently faces challenges such as a gap in skill inheritance and fierce market competition.Based on this,strategies such as updating design concepts,innovating materials and craftsmanship,innovating themes and forms,as well as marketing and brand building are proposed.Through the comprehensive application of inheritance and innovation methods,Weifang redwood inlaid silver lacquerware is expected to achieve industrial revitalization,move from technical protection to industrial prosperity,and create national cultural symbols and high-end artworks with international influence,realizing the active inheritance and sustainable development of traditional cultural heritage and industrialization.
