Analysis on the Characteristics of Anthropogenic Fire Sources in Forest Fires in Meizhou City,Guangdong Province
This article conducted a statistical analysis of forest fires that occurred in Meizhou,Guangdong from 2013 to 2022.The results showed that human sources of fire were the main cause of forest fires in Meizhou,with productive sources accounting for 28.07%and non productive sources accounting for 71.93%.Among them,tomb sweeping and ancestor worship,agricultural fire,and playing with fire with children and dementia are the three main anthropogenic sources of fire that cause forest fires in Meizhou.The forest fires in Meizhou have obvious regional,seasonal,and temporal concentration characteristics,mainly occurring in three counties and districts:Wuhua,Xingning,and Meixian.The period from October to April of the following year is the high incidence period of forest fires in Meizhou,mainly occurring between 10:00 and 18:00.The frequency of non productive fire sources is higher than that of productive fire sources,with February to March and December being the peak periods for productive fire sources,and January to February and April being the peak periods for non productive fire sources.
