Forest fire pump is widely used in actual firefighting,but the problem of weakening water firefighting efficiency due to improper operation and use is more prominent.In this paper,the performance parameters of various main battle pumps were fully investigated,combined with the summary of firefighting actual combat,the tactical use methods of forest fire pumps from the two aspects of"classification of pumps and key accessories"and"key points of five-step operation and use"were explored and summarized,and feasible suggestions for commanders and combatants to scientifically use pumps to implement water firefighting were provided.
