Based on Gridded Lightning Strike Forest Fire Risk Zoning in Western Liangshan Prefecture
To reduce the fire risk during the forest fire season in western Liangshan Prefecture,daily lightning locator data from 2005 to 2020 and daily meteorological data from 1971 to 2020 were utilized.Six indicators,including lightning strike point density,ground flash intensity,elevation,terrain undulation,soil conductivity,and forest vegetation coverage,were selected to construct a forest fire risk index using the AHP method.ArcGIS 10.2 software was employed to delineate the risk zones.The results indicated that the overall lightning-induced forest fire risk in western Liangshan Prefecture is high,with medium-risk areas accounting for 54.1%,low-risk areas accounting for 3.23%,and high-risk areas scattered and occupying 42.67%of the total area.
