The protection value and current demand of protected areas were analyzed.In this paper,the existing problems and improvement directions of capacity building of protected areas from five aspects:management and protection system,patrol system,scientific research monitoring system,public education system,disaster prevention and reduction system,and defines the construction contents were analyzed.The construction of the project is of great significance for maintaining the natural environment and biodiversity resources of the protected area,protecting typical forest communities,improving water conservation capacity,and protecting national key protected wildlife resources and their habitats.It is an important path to promote the achievement of the"dual carbon goal".
