Upholding the"four water-based principles"to promote the high-quality economic and social development:a case study on Ningxia's innovative practice
Adhering to the"four water-based principles"of"the adjustment of urban development layout,agricultural planting structure,domestic water habit and industrial water mode"and strengthening the rigid constraint of water resources are not only an inevitable choice to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources in China and ensure water security,but also an objective requirement to promote high-quality development and build a beautiful China.Taking Ningxia Autonomous Region as a case study,this article deeply analyzes the reform practice of the"four water-based principles"in Ningxia,summarizes the relevant experience and inspiration,to provide references for exploring the conservation and intensive use of water resources to promote high-quality economic and social development.
