Study on existing problems and countermeasures of water resources development and utilization in Kalpin County,Xinjiang
To ensure water security in the rational exploitation and high-quality development of water resources of Kalpin County,this paper collected and sorted out the county's water supply situation in recent years,analyzed the problems exist-ing in the water resources exploitation and utilization,and studied the corresponding countermeasures.It was found that Kalpin's water resources exploitation and utilization has problems such as unreasonable water structure,a large proportion of agricultural water,and ecological water diverted to other purposes,leading to an extreme mismatch between water resources and economic and social development as well as the ecological environment.It is suggested that future efforts while strength-ening the efficient development of agriculture,should focus on the adjustment of industrial structure based on water resources,urbanization and ecological and environmental governance.At the same time,the advantages of abundant land resources should be fully leveraged to further improve irrigated areas and soil salinization control,to enable water and soil resources to generate comprehensive benefits through a coordinated manner.
