Current situation,problems and suggestions of the seawater desalination and utilization in China
Water resource shortage is an important factor restricting China's economic development.As an important sup-plement to conventional water resources,desalinated seawater plays an important role in alleviating water shortage in coastal areas and islands in China.Based on the systematic analysis of the relevant policies and utilization status of seawater desali-nation in China,this article deeply analyzes the main problems existing in China's seawater desalination and utilization,and puts forward suggestions from the four aspects of top-level design,publicity and education,scientific and technological in-novation,and incentive policies to promote the desalination and utilization of seawater.
