Consideration on the building of a groundwater reserve system
Strengthening the management of groundwater reserves is a key link in implementing the national water security strategy,which is of great significance for alleviating flood and drought crises,enhancing the capabilities to ensure water security,and improving the ecological environment.This paper introduced the progress of groundwater reserve-related work in the Pearl River basin,analyzed the existing problems from laws and regulations,management system,basic information and other areas,and studied and put forward suggestions and safeguards for setting up systems respectively for groundwater reserve zoning,management,assessment,and supervision,which can provide a reference for the scientific establishment of the groundwater reserve system.
