Research on cost risk management of TBM construction based on entropy right and grey relation
The ground conditions of diversion tunnels using the tunnel boring machine(TBM)are complicated, and risky accidents such as rock explosion, jamming and collapse are very likely to occur during the construction, resulting in damage to machinery and equipment, casualties and economic losses. To give full play to the technical advantages of TBM in hard rock strata and reduce the possibility of risky accidents, this paper applied the fishbone diagram analysis method to compre-hensively and effectively identify the uncertainty factors that cause the cost risk of TBM construction and employed the entropy weight method to allocate weight to the risk indexes and reduce the subjectivity in the process.Furthermore, the grey relational analysis was applied to evaluate the influence degree of each risk factor on TBM construction. Then,a risk response strategy selection matrix was constructed to select reasonable risk response strategies for different risk factors based on the risk evaluation results. To verify the rationality and applicability of the model, the constructed risk evaluation model was applied to the TBM diversion tunnel project of the Pearl River Delta(PRD).The results showed that equipment or sys-tem failure maintenance, tool wear and tool change under high pressure and construction workplace safety are the risk fac-tors that risk managers should pay attention to,which is consistent with the actual situation of the project. It is expected that this study can provide a reference for risk managers in the construction of TBM diversion tunnels.
