Analysis of monitoring,early warning and flood control dispatching strategies for Xiabandi Reservoir
Real-time monitoring and early warning of reservoir water conditions play a crucial role in flood control opera-tions,dam safety management,and command decision-making during flood events.Xiabandi Reservoir,as a large-scale reservoir,endeavors to enhance its resilience against emergencies and flood disasters.Based on the overview of the Xiabadi hydraulic complex and the existing problems in water monitoring,this article explores the early warning and forecasting scheme for the Xiabadi Reservoir by analyzing the flood characteristics of the Tashkurgan River and the composition of the water monitoring and forecasting system.The results show that building a four level warning scheme for joint monitoring of hydrology,meteorology,and reservoirs can scientifically and effectively respond to unsafe incidents in reservoirs,which can be used as a reference for similar projects.
