Research on calculation of node cost water prices for long distance water diversion projects:a case study of Nanshan Canal
Governments at all levels are carrying out national(local)water network planning and implementation construc-tion,conducting in-depth research on the node cost water prices of long-distance water diversion projects. This is a practi-cal requirement for deepening the market-oriented reform of water prices, promoting high-quality development of water con-servancy,and implementing the water management strategy of giving full play to both role of government and market.Tak-ing the Nanshan Canal in Changji Prefecture,Xinjiang as the research object, based on the calculation of the overall engi-neering comprehensive cost water price, this article uses two methods, namely the channel segment water price method and the investment allocation method to calculate the cost water prices of each water distribution node. The similarities and differences and mutual verification of the two methods are explained, and the identity relationship between the overall com-prehensive cost water price of the project and reveals the weighted average cost water prices of the water supply at each water distribution node, providing a reference basis for the pricing department to formulate water prices and raise construc-tion funds.
