Application and practice of digital twins in high quality development of the middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project
Taking use of digital mapping,virtual real synchronization,simulation,and optimized closed-loop,digital twins predict the uncertainty of physical spatial objects to avoid the risks brought by emergency events,providing a new control mode for engineering construction management.The South-to-North Water Diversion Project is the main backbone of the national water network.In order to enhance the engineering safety,water supply safety,and water quality assurance capa-bilities of the Project,solve the problems of flood control at flood season intersections,difficulties in operation and manage-ments uch as emergency response to sudden water pollution events,safety of water transportation scheduling at different time and space scales,and structural safety of important control buildings,China South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Corporation Limited actively explores the application of digital twins technology.It has built a data base through data gov-ernance,established a knowledge platform based on historical scenario library,forecast scheduling rule base,and business rule knowledge base,constructed a multi-scenario model platform based on water conservancy mechanism model and deep learning technology,and established a digital twin platform for the middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Pro-ject,achieved an intelligent middle route,which ensures the realization of the work goals of"three safety"and high-quality development,and provides experience and references for the water conservancy industry.
